I felt very unsafe here. There was someone attempting to check in without a photo ID. There was a lot of noise. There was a burning scent in my room that made me decide to check out early. Even though it is down the street from a nice area of town, this hotel is in a rougher area. Also, they were not set up to offer breakfast and gave me a bag of food from a convenience store.
Manager wasn’t helpful at all with accommodations. Booked 2 rooms for 7 guests and when we checked in they assigned us to 2 rooms with inly 1 bed in each. Completely unacceptable and offered no solutions. Beware of this location and manager
Strange credit card charging for services not provided or not agreed: Actually, the hotel, at least in terms of location, isn't all that bad. Anyone who doesn't care about waterproof showers, coat hooks, luggage racks, storage space, bedside lamps (only one per tiwn bed), wardrobe racks/space, etc., will feel comfortable here. Great location but room not up to good standard. Facilities mediocre, for example the breakfast room is too small and has no windows. There is not enough seating space. Balcony door does not close properly, so rain means a wet carpet. And I would highly recommend using the room safe as some of our stuff went 'missing' and staff consistently ignored our complaints about this.
Room amenities mediocre at best, e.g. the coffee machine had a hole in it, the sink was way too small so the water kept spilling out of it. The balcony door didn't close properly allowing rain to pour in. I highly recommend locking all your stuff in the hotel safe because sometimes things "magically" disappear. When you try to get your missing stuff back you will find that the front desk staff has zero interest in helping you find it.
