2/7/26 Amana furnace failed. Called wyckoff hvac as they installed furnace initially in 2019. Left message. Tech returned call 40-60 minutes later. He informed me there would be a $240 (as it turns out, it was $225) service call fee plus any parts. Also informed me there may be an additional charge if he didn’t have necessary parts. After arriving and diagnosing the problem he determined that the problem was the igniter. He installed new aftermarket (not Amana) igniter which seems to have corrected the problem. I wish I could give more than 5 stars to this Company. I would specifically like to give a shout out to Kyle, and Dan, who helped secure the financing I needed for a new Furnace unit when my old furnace gave out Tuesday 1/20/2026. Last but certainly not least the MVP has to go to Charlie who did the install work and got the new unit up and running just in the nick of time before this terrible cold snap hit us. We were having intermittent issues with our furnace and opted to go with a new furnace which was installed the next day. Not only is it working great, but some rooms that were previously always chilly have suddenly become warm! Very professional and highly recommend.
I’ve used Wyckoff for more than 20 years and have always been happy with their service. They helped me get maximum life out of my old furnace and A/C (27 years) and installed new units about 4 years ago for a very reasonable price. Their service techs are friendly and knowledgeable and have given me helpful tips over the years during seasonal checkups.
My 23-year old furnace quit in this latest cold weather. I called Wyckoff and they had a great guy named Kevin come out nearly immediately. He diagnosed the problem in just a few minutes. He came back the next day with the new part and got the old unit purring like new again. He didn’t try to upsell me a new furnace, just gave me my options.
