Ava Smith is by far the best Gyne I have ever met! I had my initial NPT visit and she was so kind and truly listened to my concerns. She explained everything in detail and I never felt rushed or unheard. I’ll be recommending her to everyone!
Do not go here if you have a history of miscarriages, high risk pregnancies, or are undergoing IVF. I have been under their care for two pregnancies that both resulted in losses. My recent one I did not make it to the initial 8 week appointment (miscarried at 7 weeks 2 days due to an SCH and hemorraghing) since they refuse to see you sooner and I never recieved a response about my loss from them that time. It turned out I had retained placental tissue that could have led to an infection but not once did this clinic ever both... read more
Came back to update since this is my 2nd pregnancy coming here before I go to the high risk clinic in WV but Payten is AMAZING! If you can get an appointment with her, your pregnancy will be a much happier and easier experience!! EDIT: I had a missed miscarriage, I want to thank Dr Sunyecz for getting me in for my DNC quickly!! All of them are amazing!🥹🫶
I had fantastic experiences there in my first two appointments, but the key is getting an appointment. They keep calling and canceling and changing. My last appointment over a year ago, I was supposed to schedule a surgery after one more check in a month later…. They keep postponing… And now they called to cancel again. Considering how much WVU charges and their “standard practice” of charging for both a sick and a well visit for every single regular doctor visit, you would think that they would have abundant money to actual... read more
