Had open heart surgery on Feb 20 2026 Have yet to see the Cardiologist So far 4 appointments have be cancel by them. I ask to be seen by a different cardiolist if Dr Khola Tahir was not avaliable an I was told no straight out. Which I feel should be my descion. Again had an appointment for April 14 2026 and the call me to cancel once again. My question is how do I know if everything is OK. No professionalism They dont care about the patient only the money.
Last 2 appointments have had to be rescheduled at last minute due to an issue at WVU. The "earliest" they can reschedule this latest appointment is 5 months from now. So here are my questions: either, the schedulers have some advanced medical degree that when the doctor says see you in x months, adding an extra 5 months tonthat number is perfectly fine. They keep rescheduling my appt. Moved it to June 2026 now to Sept 2026? Im consider a critical care patient? WVU sucks when it comes to Cardiologist! Jan 2022, I had to be flown to DC because no Cardiologist was available in Martinsburg and I was in need of a Cardiologist ASAP so the DC hospital sent their own helicopter to get me because the WVU helicopter wasn't available that day! If it wasn't for DC sending their helicopter I wouldn't be here today!
I did not have a good experience with Dr. Murphy. Throughout my appointment, her demeanor felt dismissive and belittling. Even after demonstrating that I understood my own test results and terminology from my report, she continued to explain things in a condescending manner rather than speaking to me as an adult. She initially dismissed a finding I brought up from my heart scan and only acknowledged the mistake after I pulled up the report and cited the exact wording.
