I have a family friend who has an MRI-confirmed disc compression/anterolisthesis that causes debilitating lower back and leg pain. This "doctor" takes one look at her and tells her that is it not nerve-related, no tests/history taking/examination. Nothing. She asks him for a referral to see other specialists such as physiotherapy and he flat out refuses to give it to her, forcing her to pay out of pocket for a service she needs BUT has insurance for (that requires a physician note). Stay away from this doctor at all cost. He was my family doctor for years out of convenience in location. As I am a healthy person I never saw him for years. Any acute illnesses i would go to an emergency room. The one time i had been ill, he essentially told me that I'm not sick, despite not seeing my for years and knowing nothing about me. I was really sick and I didn’t have family doctor because I am new to this country. When I called them, they told me to come right away. So, I went to there but they realized that I was new patients. I didn’t know that they don’t accept new patients.
