She saved my life without question. She helped me so much I can’t imagine going to another provider. But I guess we can let her retire. Thank you Dr. Wu for giving me my life back. And have an awesome retirement.
She is the best Dr. That a Dr. Should be.
Dr Wu prescribed me Lamictal. She started me on 25 mg FOUR times a day. The recommended starting dose is only 25 mg once a day. It is very dangerous to start as high as I did. I ended up getting Stevens Johnson syndrome and being in the burn unit for 2 weeks on a feeding tube. Her records don’t match what she prescribed me.
She saved my life.
Dr. Wu is the best psychiatrist I have ever been treated by. My insurance changed, I tried quite a few other providers who were on my plan and the experience was awful. I was unable to find a doctor who would really listen to what I was saying, or had an understanding of me like Dr. Wu does, or who is as compassionate as Dr. Wu. Needless to say, I went back to Dr. Wu. My well-being is more important than the money. Always up to date on most recent treatments, traditional and non traditional.
I've been Dr Wu's patient for almost 10 years. Does not do talk therapy (not what this dr is trained in) or warm fuzzy feeling when first visit, you won't get. What you will get is a highly qualified professional who really does get to know you over time that doesn't make you feel less than normal for a fairly complex illness that carries a stigma. All in a day's work.
Very friendly and addresses my issues
She never even looked at me during the very short visit! Sat on a big rubber ball and prescribed some horrible pill for me! I never even got to start discussing my issues.
