When you try a Tex Mex restaurant for the first time, you have to have fajitas and cheese enchiladas. If those two things are good, you go back and try other dishes. When you go to a spot that serves Chicago style food, you have an Italian Beef and a Chicago dog. I'm happy to report that Wrigleyville delivers perfectly on both of these items. I had the beef with hot peppers, dipped. Not quite as messy as I expected, but the flavor was perfect. Great dog also! I can't wait to come back and try some other things from the menu.... read more
Owners and atmosphere were amazing We will be back
This is like being at home, since I moved from Chicago i have never been able to find a restaurant that sold a good Italian beef , however it was like Heaven atmosphere was great, the waitstaff was friendly and the food AMAZING just like home. This is my favorite place to go. Keep up the wonderful service and you'll always have my business. I highly recommend!
The Italian Beef Sandwich (double dipped of course) is like something from Heaven! Of course the Chicago Cubs stuff on the walls is wonderful too! Want the best sandwich in town? Go to Wrigleyville! It's better than the sandwiches I used to get at Chesdans on Archer Avenue in Chicago!

You walk inside and it feels like you're in Chicago. The food speaks for itself but the service, that's why I'll be back! Jimmie the owner is so personable! He really seems to care about his food and how you like it. The Italian beef is on point and they have 312 on draft! Thanks for having a home away from "home"
First time here. Saw the sign driving down San Pedro and decided to try it. Was not disappointed. Got the lunch special crazy gyro and small greek salad. Absolutely delicious!! Pappouli's is usually my go-to for gyros, but this is my new favorite. Can't wait to come back and try something else! I have never had hot sauce and jalapenos on a gyro til now, it was amazing...They sweeten their tea with brown sugar, it gives it an interesting flavor boost.
Best Italian beef in San Antonio. They roast their own beef, it is tender and tasty. The au jus is perfectly seasoned with hints of oregano, fennel and garlic. The cheese fries are hand cut and the cheese sauce is amazing. The gyros are delicious as well and the the use Vienna beef hot dogs. A great value. A great meal. And a true Chicago taste.
I absolutely love it. Could even be better than Portillo's in Chicago. Now I have a part of Chicago in San Antonio.. part of Chicago in San ThAntonio!!!
