Awesome Italian beef sandwich and a great atmosphere during the Cubs game!
This is a little slice of Chicago in San Antonio! Went for game one of Cubs vs Nats and the atmosphere was electric. I’m originally from the Chicagoland area and I no longer need to go home to get my fill of Chicago food. Jimmy the owner was super personable and all of the patrons were amazing. Definitely going to frequent this place to feel closer to home while in Texas! If you’re from Chicago, visited Chicago and loved it, or just want to get some great food from great football this is a must visit!!!
If you are a true die hard Chicago Cubs Fan you will love it there. I was stationed in Chicago with the US Navy. My first ever MLB game was the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field in 1994, I have been a die hard fan ever since. Had to stop at this restaurant, had the Italian Beef sandwich with fries, food was delicious. I also sat there and watched the Cubs beat Cincinnati on the 2 very nice TV's they have there. Great atmosphere, great food, a must see.
