Wright's Nursery is my favorite place to buy native Texas plants in the Austin area. They also carry a great selection of roses, ornamentals, and vegetable starters. Plants are healthy and vigorous, and we've had great results in our garden. Barbara really knows her stuff and is always willing to share her expertise and give advice on what will work where. Easy to make an appointment and we had the place to ourselves while we shopped. What a great way to support a locally owned business!
This was probably the best nursery experience I’ve had. Going by appointment was great, because we got 100% of their attention. She helped us pick out exactly what we needed for our vegetable gardens. I don’t think I’d go anywhere else, especially since nurseries are getting hard to find. The plants look great, and the price was very reasonable; I’ve paid twice that for plants. Overall a great experience, and I’ll be sure to return when it’s time for our flower beds!
Best variety of native plants in central Texas!
AWESOME place ! Barbara is incredibly knowledgeable and her plant selection is huge. many natives in 4 inch pots which are hard to find.
We called and made arrangements to visit the nursery. Absolutely awesome. So many healthy Texas native plants! We drove two hours to get there and will be going back.
