Being from the Carolinas you can get a burger there with chili, slaw, cheese and onions . Try the chicken salad on toasted rye.
I am a native of Staunton and was visiting during the holidays. I always make a point of eating there on every visit. It has so many childhood memories. After my visit and return home I was kicking myself for not buying one of their shirts that they have on display. I reached out on the website asking if it was possible to still purchase one. Their burger is so small I thought they forgot the patty. They also always get my order wrong and charge for water.
