Located about 40 minutes from Lihue, this steakhouse is one of the fancier eating spots on Kauai's West Side. The restaurant offers a lot of country style in a casual setting. Since it's not hard to find, it has become a local landmark. Not many tourists end up here for dinner, but the locals come to enjoy some of the freshest fish and tastiest steaks in the area. The simple menu offers typical surf and turf dishes with an optional salad bar. There is lots of free parking along the highway or near the entrance.

We were there for lunch yesterday. The service was Awesome! Salad & Soup bar was fresh and delicious. I had the Ahi special..... yummy! My non-fish eating Hubby has the burger and it was great too. This place is well worth stopping... A+++ on everything!
This was great home style cookin! Crab cakes are better than any, even my Momma’s (sorry Mom!) Could have made them my whole meal! Ordered peppercorn crusted ribeye with gravy- was a lil more rare than I like it- no prob! They changed it quick with a smile! Excellent service, state are super-duper attentive, even with an event going on inside. Loved sitting out on the big porch, iced tea in a big (never-ending) mason jar. Every time that I’ve been back to Waimea and gone to Wranglers I only had drinks, but never dinner. I have to say that my pepper steak and bread pudding was spot on, service was excellent, staff was full of aloha! My other 5 companions meal was excellent as well!
On June 18th I had honor of celebrating my birthday at Wranglers Steakhouse with my 2 cousin's. We were greeted by non other then the beautiful owner Colleen Vidinha Faye. I always enjoy returning back there because of the great service, the Aloha that comes naturally from her local emplyees as well as the wonderful service, not to mention the ONO food that's always prepared. The prime rib was amazing. It was great to have soft guitar / singing while we ate.
Electic little place. Food was good. Service a bit slow. Flies in the place we’re horrible.
