It has been almost a year later and tried again , first 3 appointment not bad on wait time only 10 or 15 minutes wait time today 1 hour again. I left , I thought they might improve but no again same thing so again I left same as last time. What do they expect from people, our time is important to 10:30 appt still waiting at 11:15.couldnt tell me how long it would be. This place is awesome for wound care and infusion services. We just came for wound care. Dr's and nurses are great. Front reception is another story. We needed to wait for the reception to finish having to eat their food. (At the front desk) She would answer the phone but would not check us in until she was done. After about 20 minutes we were checked in. I then over heard the receptionist tell the now second receptionist that if a patient cancels an appointment three times, it's "3 strikes and your out" .... I have been going to St Michael Wound Care for several months. Waiting periods have gradually increased to waiting 1 hr to 1.5 hrs to beyond appointment times. There is a sign at check-in regarding "short staffing", which is chronic throughout St Michael medical facilities. I have talked to the Wound Care program director and staff about the delays, and chronic understaffing of nurses seems to be the problem.
