Dr. MISTRY and all the staff are really amazing people. Me and my husband never got frustrated with going once a week; and it was only because the staff was so awesome and Dr. Mistry really took time with us and answered all of our questions and concerns. We definitely will sing their praises and refer anyone that is going through a hard time with a bad wound.
The staff here is the best
5 weeks after open heart surgery (tripple bi-pass, heart ascending artery dissection repair, and 2 new heart valves) i had a new wound appear in the leg which was dripping clear fluid every 1-2 minutes for over 3 days. The wound was swelling, a bit red and soaking new large gauze coverings in minutes. I was very concerned. It was 4 days till I go back to Emory at 2 hours away. I highly recommend the wound care center at Stephen's County Hospital. Everyone was friendly and helpful and took care of my wound. Dr. Mistry had to try a few different treatments but I was finally healed. He has a great personality and is very skilled and diligent. Special shout out to Kelsey and Sharon for their help. I will miss seeing all of you weekly but hopefully I don't have anymore wounds. If I do, I know who to call.
