I liked Dr. McCarthy and enjoyed talking with her. My problem is I called over 5 times to make an appointment. I left messages. I even sent a card as I was concerned after 6 month of no correspondence from the practice. Still 6 weeks later no correspondence. This is a bit unprofessional. I don’t want to feel it because we’re black but this office neglected to return a call or letter. As good as it gets. I’ve completed sessions with Doctor McCarthy that led to a break in therapy because of the progression made in those sessions. If you’re considering therapy, please know this is a safe and comfortable doctor to speak to.
