They claimed the "credit card" machine was down, although they could scan my ticket and tell me how much to pay. Directed me to the nearest ATM machine which charges a fee as well. What a SCAM. Rates are HORRIBLE. Went to Quincy Market for dinner and ended up paying $40 for parking. I really question if the owners got their $40, or it was pocketed.
Avoid this place - complete rip-off. We parked on a weekday evening for 2 hours and 25 minutes and were charged $35! Credit cards not allowed. Prices not posted in advance. No deals with nearby merchants/restaurants. Most expensive city parking I have seen.
Absolutely worst experience in a parking garage ever. I have called their manager and left a message to speak directly with John Sullivan regarding this horrible experience -- they post NO WHERE upon entry clearly that they are "cash only", and my family had to wait in the pouring rain while I ran back to get my ATM card to get cash. I was then RUDELY treated by their parking attendant whom I will report to Mr Sulivan. HORRIBLE parking garage, likely the WORST PARKING GARAGE IN ALL OF BOSTON! ****DO NOT GO HERE!!****
STAY AWAY--FEE SCHEDULE NOT POSTED, CASH ONLY – I was taken advantage by the Worldwide Parking garage. Afte receiving my parking ticket, I found it odd that the rates were not posted but felt their fees would be consistent with other garages in the area. . We spent about 2 1/2 hours on Sunday afternoon and was amazed when I was told of the $35 charge. Tried to pay with credit card and was told payment was cash only. How can anyone operate a business in Boston as cash only and not properly display their fees. My sister and I ... read more
AVOID 20 Clinton Str, Boston,Worldwide Parking Asso – Stay away of this Parking and those completely dishonest People. I paid $35 for less than 2 hours! They rip you off in the middle of the day
THEY'LL ROB YOU BLIND!! – I give them no stars!! I had a meeting in the Financial District and was coming into the city when the business traffic was at its worst, 5:30PM. I parked at this lot at Faneuil Hall, thinking how bad could it be?! I'd not be more than a couple of hours.. $35.00. So the only resolve I have now is to be sure and get the word out to boycott this parking facility. This is disgraceful - an embarrassment to the City of Boston. What is wrong with Mayor Tom Menino and his staff, the Attorney General's offi... read more
I was mugged! – I was mugged and didn't know it until I was headed out of the lot. $17 an hour!!!!!!!!! I hope these people are paying their taxes to the city and providing for a homeless shelter. If taxed properly, it should keep the tax rate down in the city. This is one parking garage to avoid unless proceeds are going to a homeless shelter.
A disgrace to Freedom Trail – On labor day wkend a bunch of friends visited Boston. Parking within the city at lots typically run around $12.00 at most $17.00 a day (Copley Square, Boylston, Kenmore, Harvard). When entering this lot I noticed the price table but could not read it as it was below the car level and there was another car waiting behind me to get in. I later found out it's $31.00 for any time above 2.5 hrs and cash only. Come on! The airport is not even that much. On one hand, though very poorly and inconvenient... read more
Shame on Boston! There are some truly outrageous things that seem to go unnoticed by the mayor?s office in Boston. The garage parking situation is one of them. I (we!) implore you to find a way to either bring their usury pricing in line with today?s monetary reality, or to close down these establishments and jail their thieving owners! On New Year?s Day (January 1st, 2009), my wife and I drove into Boston from the western suburbs (Natick) to take in a show on Hanover Street at the Improv Asylum. We drove around the North En... read more
