My stay at New World Hotel was a nightmare from start to finish. I don’t know how this place is still open—it’s a health hazard, plain and simple. First, the check-in process was chaotic and the staff couldn’t have cared less. They barely acknowledged me, and it took forever to get my room key. This room was DISGUSTING!!!! My and my husband and my 4 kids booked a room here for 3 nights after new years. I woke up to one of my daughters SCREAMING, cause she had a BEDBUG IN HER HAIR. The room was nasty and definitely haven't been cleaned. I spoke to the staff that same morning, THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!! NEVER COME HERE!!! Staff is so mean, rooms are disusing, location is okay. I'd rather spend $700 going on a beach trip to the Jersey Shore, then on this garbage.
This is a review from 2018. Not sure if this hotel has changed for the better but keep that in mind before reading further. Room barely cleaned. Sheets weren't clean and there was only a top sheet on the bed no comforter. Bathroom small. Hair in sink. No supplies /towels tp soap ect/ no elevator. We were on the 9th floor. Entire hotel stunk and was dirty and cramped. Would not recommend. We were there for 30 minutes and most of our time was spent checking in and going up the stairs and back down.
