I and my buddy have been working out there for several years now. We really like the place. It is nice and full complement of equipments. Very friendly staff and gym goers.

It’s in a good location and fairly clean, and the users are respectful. That said, the equipment quality is disappointing. Many machines are old and run down. The chest fly machine has uneven handle levels, and the heavier dumbbells (85 and 90 lbs IIRC) are mismatched brands with different grip thicknesses. Several adjustable benches are unlevel, which feels unsafe to me.

This gym has a judgment-free atmosphere, with personalities and people of all types on their fitness journey. Come here if you don’t mind the most up-to-date equipment and people eventually getting to know you personally, since it is a much smaller gym compared to others.

I’ve been working out here since August, and I can honestly say joining Workout Anytime in Cary was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health and strength goals. From day one, the experience has been excellent. I walked in, had a great conversation with the manager, Mike, about my goals, and within a few days I signed up for both the gym and personal training.
