The service was very good, but I don’t know if the changes the owner or the reception area is no very friendly. I am sorry with this incident today.
Waterford Lakes: We’ve only used this location for grooming but have had previous dogs groomed by other groomers. Our first experience was good. Our Maltipoo needed a bath and trim. We felt the service was done as requested. Our second experience , a few months later, we requested the same service- a mini. The groomer told us this would be the last time this service could be done and our puppy would need a full service the next visit. We explained that we did not want our puppy shaved at any time. We are very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with Hedy's grooming. There seems to have been a miscommunication, when the groomer assessed Hedy during her check in, it was discussed that she had matting throughout her entire body. This was explained to the person who dropped Hedy off, and they acknowledged that she was indeed matted by signing our matted dog release form. At that time, they were also shown our hair length sample chart which the groomer pointed out the potential lengths of the end result for Hedy's haircut.... read more
RecommendedThe ladies at this store are amazing. I can’t say enough Thank you’s to them. I have 4 dogs who love to go there to get their mani pedi’s. If I have questions that I can’t answer they will try and help. The food, treat and toy supplies are given a big paws up from my group. Thank you ladies from JB, Moli, Natasha and Cherry Bomb .
Woof Gang Bakery Waterford Lakes: I think they have lost sight of who the customer is. I have 2 dogs, a Maltese and a Shih Tzu I have been bringing in for grooming for a number of years. Today the dog groomer in charge (the owner wasn`t in) wants to charge me $20 extra, on top of the minimum $50 per dog grooming charge, for "de-matting", but they had already told me they have to shave both dogs anyway !!! When a pet is matted beyond what can be safely brushed out, they will have to be pre-shaved before the bath so we can get the skin and remaining hair clean. Then after the bath we shave again so the pet is even. The "matting fee" is due to giving the pet two haircuts and because our equipment dulls quicker due to using them on a dirty coat. As far as the tail goes, we will not knowingly leave any mats in your dog's fur at the end of the groom. We strive to do what is in the dog's best interest at all times.
