I WOULD N’T DRIVE THAT FAR TO EAT FOR ANYWHERE ELSE!!! WOODYS IS THE BEST!!!! GREAT FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE AND THE BEST BLOODY MARY’S!!!!
Great seafood, staff was very pleasant.
The boiled crabs with old bay and a bloddy mary. Life is good.
The crab cakes were heavenly! The pumpkin bread pudding was out of this world! The service was fast and friendly! Gonna stop in each time I pass thru. 5 stars!!
New Haven Connecticut has a Restaurant called The Place and is the Gold Standard for seafood. sadly this place falls short. my lobster was rubbery. meaning its not fresh. other on our table liked the place but my lobster was tough. i had traveled 2 hours to present this find to my family and friends and while they like it. its just a too far to drive. for me, i will not be back because the price was mire than the Gold Standard.
Best place for crab legs, have to try the Hush puppies.
the food was not as good as normal. they changed the size of seafood nachos which are amazing. my suggestion increase the price and make in an entree don't decrease the size. this is the first time I was not satisfied. who puts carrots in New England soup
We have been here multiple times and I’ve always loved it. They had the Vegetarian Sack option and so although I don’t eat meat I was always happy to come in for that with some sweet potato fries and an orange crush with my friends who love seafood. I Was extremely disappointed when I came in today and saw it was off the menu. Instead ended up sticking together sides that I got charged double the menu value for since they were a meal and not sides. Sadly I think I will be returning unless the menu is changed again.
