When I was here last the staff member at the front desk read my social security number outloud for everyone to hear and she did the same with others. This happened a year ago and im still so disturbed by this because its a hippa violation.
The overall Woodwinds Hospital? Fabulous. The ER? Well.... **Bear in mind I am a former pediatric and current brain cancer patient. First, waiting room is small. I will try to give what is due, I appreciate the help vaguely received, but the overflow is miserable. You can find quick care, but can be vague. My children's roommate had a dental emergency and it was too late on New Year's Eve Day for any dentist's office to take a patient. We headed to the Woodbury Emergency Room because he was in great pain. I just became a senior citizen and have been to many emergency rooms in my lifetime in 10 different states and locally to St John's, Regions, & St Joseph's.
