I am a current resident that attempted to get out of my lease in the midst of all this virus displacement. They only let you out if your entire unit wants out, which isn’t realistic with everyone having different situations of life. (Especially in the crisis) even if the entire unit requested to leave, you have to pay 4 months rent...... which is what we would pay anyway to stay until the end of our term.
