Woodtech Wood Work does amazing custom projects with real skill. The craftsmanship is detailed and shows they care about quality. They helped me design a table that came out better than I imagined. The team was polite and kept me updated while they worked. The finish was smooth and professional, and it looks great in my home. Pricing was fair considering the high quality of the work. I highly recommend them for anyone who values strong and beautiful wood pieces.
They did an excellent job on a cross for a grave marker for a family member.
I brought them 2 walnut slabs to check for dryness and milled flat. They didn’t check moisture content like they said they would then milled it, a couple weeks later it started to bow up and they called and apologized and said they would dry it and remill it. We were told it was because of "inferior wood", even though we used FAS Red Oak that was at 9-10% moisture content. The lumber just wasn't purchased th... read more
WoodTech is a great place for Huntsville woodworkers to get wood for projects (and don'twant to drive too far). They have a good stock of the Alabama essentials: poplar, walnut, maple, cherry, osage orange, etc., including some wildly cool live edge pieces. They will cut and mill your selections, and I was even able to get a beautiful piece of flamed maple bookmatched! Awesome local business, and super agreeable prices!
