One of my worst experiences with a plumber to date. I have (still) a leaking sink with yellow residue marks where the water drips in the basin. I called them up and he charged me $250 to replace a plastic washer, a service call, and half an hour of time, though maybe 15 minutes of it spent actually working… I could have been ok with this, but the next morning the sink was still dripping and the yellow mark still there. For the past forty years, I have avoided any appearance at the Woodstock (or Ulster) Small Claims court, as either Plaintiff or Defendant, a record I was proud of. So long record. Woodstock Plumbing and HVAC are incompetent, grossly over-billing, and extortionist - they use the building code as a business development tool, and as a weapon.
