It wasn't fancy and nothing extra, but it was more than acceptable -- I was surprised by how comfortable the bed was. Unfortunately, there were some not-great guests staying at the same time. One guest let his dog poop in the hallway (which the desk attendant quickly fixed). Another guest (or several guests?) were vaping, so the elevator and our hallway smelled like it. Thankfully, the smell didn't get into the room.

Was woken up twice at 3 am and 4 am with a man loudly yelling and banging on doors. That’s how the long term guests were acting. Seemed like a normal occurrence because the person inside the room responded like they knew the person. There is no staff on location or front desk staff between 4 pm- 9am, so none to call or enforce a reasonable environment. This is not clear on the Expedia site. My children go to Michigan State University and I came to visit them over the holidays. It was my first stay at this hotel and room was clean, complete with a kitchenette and comfy sheets. Staff was very nice and helpful but front desk hours are limited. Glad I never lost a key bc that would have been the worst - you have to use a kiosk for replacements. Room was quiet. Stayed here one night for an exam at the prometric testing center nearby. Location was great as it was within 5 minutes of my destination. The room itself was very clean and came with dishes/utensils/cookware as I had paid for the stocked kitchen. Check in and check out process were very simple. I used the kiosk to check out in the morning and the person on the other end was very kind. Cons are that I was on the first floor and the people above me had a young child that was loud. Where do I begin… First, you need to know that there are no actual humans that work at this hotel for the majority of the time. You have to check in at a kiosk, which causes delays and confusion for many guests. Having no humans at the front desk also means things like if you run out of toilet paper any time between 5pm-10am, you are screwed.
