RecommendedAlthough I personally don't have any family members as the residents at Woodside Senior Living, I've had a pleasure visiting the facility several times. I was struck by the warmth of the place, just a welcoming homey and dynamic environment. Staff seems caring and accommodating. Some of the residents who were in the lobby were smiling and joking around. Others, in the dining room, were keeping busy, playing cards and bingo. One big family. This seems to be the place one would trust to help care for the loved one.
because they are not a reliable place I have made calls to get in touch with them to check on a parent and they never got back to me. When my parent had to go to the hospital a worker at the hospital said that they had trouble getting in touch with them as well. My parent has been moved to another place that is better in communication about letting me know the status of my parent.
They need to give the residents their medication like doctors prescribe them. I have spoken to them several times about this, and nothing has changed. As soon as I am able, I will be moving my mom from this facility, and she has only been there since July of 2019.
Staff are wonderful caring people. Many activities for the residents. Nursing staff are kind,gentle, and very caring.
This is by far the most loving place, every caregiver, nurse, custodian, server,laundry attendant, cleaning person,activity person , front desk person and resident I love deeply, they have become my family, even though my mom is gone now they give me such comfort , I thank them all from the bottom of my heart and will continue to visit my Woodside family.
I loved pampering the ladies for the Senior Fashion Show 2015! I had a great time! The Staff was very helpful and wonderful!!! Would love to return to do something else for the residence and staff!!! 216.644.6201!!
