Deleted my old review for the BBQ menu and am leaving a new one for the new Tex Mex menu as this feels like the only way to share opinions. I was sad to see the menu change, but can understand the financial reasoning. However, theres still so much you could do to improve the space and make it more of a "hangout" spot. The Summerhill Sovereign: A Tale of Brisket, Bankruptcy, and Biological Events. Wood’s Chapel BBQ is a masterfully restored brick cathedral of smoke where you can experience the surreal sensation of being a high-stakes venture capitalist while eating lunch in a cavernous airplane hangar. Perfect neighborhood bbq joint. Lots of outdoor space and indoor games for family outings
We visit this location as a team once a quarter and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Unfortunately, our recent experience with “Jenny” changed that. We noticed her being rude to other employees while ordering, and her interactions with our group were equally off-putting. While the food was still good, the service left a lasting negative impression. Hopefully you visit when Jenny isn’t working.
