One of the best I've met in my Mercedes W123 wanderings. Class act, knowledgeable and professional. Just a straightforward good dude. Doesn't hurt that the first time I met him within minutes he was on task to help do a last minute, late night transmission swap. I guess it was in the cards, but it really just sums up the no-nonsense, get-it-done person he is.

John does outstanding work sourcing and restoring some very low mile classic Mercedes. Not only that, but he painstakingly documents all of his work on youtube for all prospective buyers to see. Most other so-called "dealers" or "flippers" out there just slap on some tire shine, change the oil and air filter, put in some coco mats and give it a quick buff over worn paint and call it good. John sets the bar high. He is honest and transparent in the presentation of some of the finest classic and collector cars. He documents and shares good quality videos and even provides knowledgeable "how too" information so other owners and enthusiasts can learn how to accomplish a task on their own. I highly recommend Woods & Barclay if you are looking for your next classic or collector car.
