If you want your child in a compassionate nuturing environment stay far away from this school ive personally witnessed how the staff handle kids grabbing them by the backs of their necks. As far as the administrators i.e the principal, dean asst. principal will offer no solution or make any time to meet with you to remedy the situation. This scool is by far the worst experience ever. I think that Woodland West needs to have better communication with the parents. My son is in 5th grade this year. He started off with 3 teachers. He went through 3 substitutes for Math. Then they switched over to 5 teachers. They never once had a meeting or sent a letter to the parents letting them know about the changes. My son came home and told me he had new teachers. He also got the teacher that I asked he not be with. Now I'm noticing some changes in my son's grades and his attitude towards school. When you are constant... read more
My daughter has autism and she has really blossomed since attending Woodland West. The staff looks after her and truly care about her. They provide a safe and positive learning environment for her.
