Made first contact with woodland tree service in late November. Got estimate for tree takedown. Talked to Mark who said the work could be done the following week. After that last contact woodland tree service completely ignored me. I called woodland and talked to Mark on December 28,2020. He told me could do the work on the following week and would call me back and schedule a date. He didn't call back. I sent text to Mark on January 12,2021 asking what was going on. Stay away!! if this review helps even one person avoid going through what we did, then I'll be happy. I wish I had read reviews before I hired them. Deceitful, unprofessional practices. I should have filed an official complaint with the BBB, but sometimes you don't want to deal with it, as what's done is done. Once you mangle a tree you can't undo it! Live and learn. Terrible customer service. Took 3 trips and the work is still not complete. Left a mess in my yard, then tried to charge me more than what was agreed upon. Mr Brown wrote up a service contract to remove 4 trees and a stump for a price that we agreed upon. When they did the work they only removed 3 trees and left the stump. They used my ladder without permission. Then they left without checking to see if I was satisfied with the work. I received an estimate from this company to trim out a large tree in my yard. The estimate was contingent on being able to park their boom truck on the roadway of an assisted living location's parking lot behind my house. When it became clear that that institution would not permit such access, other alternatives were explored. After several conversations with Mark, it was finally determined that the company would position their boom truck in my front yard and thus gain access to my back yard tree over my house.
