Woodland Title was extremely unprofessional and entered a closing without disclosing information that they would be holding the sellers money inappropriately. Additionally, when asked why the money was being held, several different responses were given over a series of 4 days, where the company was very rude, sending the seller on a goose chase for their money that Woodland was holding onto. Inexcusably poor customer service and even worse communication: funding of our families sale proceeds took 4+ days after closing; no real reason given; followed by refusing to take our calls. Once we were finally funded, no apology; no offer to reimburse interest, nothing. In a business full of emotion and excitement, you managed to increase the emotion and steal the excitement…as well as some of our interest.
Worst service I have ever had. Do not trust them with your title or any money. They make up any excuse they can to hold it. It took over 4 days to get our money, no apologies were given just snarky comments and ridicule for asking questions.
