BLACK MOLD THROUGHOUT THE APARTMENT! I started my lease in November and left in March because I am now 5 months pregnant and the BLACK MOLD was making me sick. You can smell the mold when you enter the apartment. It's an unhealthy, hazardous, and a dangerous environment for me to be in, especially while pregnant! My doctor advised to leave ASAP. So, I did. I moved here as it was close to work, i did not want to sign a long terms lease, so i paid a higher rate than most, My first issue, my front door key did not work well, i stopped at the ofifce and let them know, was told they will take care off it. Got home that night, my key would not open my door. I had to call emergecy services, after 3 phone callsand over an hour later, i finally got some one to drill out the lock and give me a new key. The single bedroom apartments and pretty standard. Nothing fancy but it does come with a dishwashing machine and its own laundry unit. My unit faces the main road which can be quite loud with all the traffic, the walls dont block the sound very well, it would be nice to have a noise barrier. Im not 100% sure if the buildings are rated for hurricanes but the windows are not for sure.
