RecommendedAbsolutely beautiful place. My family has been here twice now and we are in love. Perfect spot on Lake Huron. Gorgeous sunrises. Owners are super nice. The cottages are great and you cannot beat the price! Can’t wait to keep coming back!

My son and I have been vacationing in the Tawas/Oscoda area for 22 years. Woodland Beach Cottages are by far, the best place we have ever stayed. They are very pet friendly, prices cannot be beat, the cottages are clean and nice sized, and the owners are the nicest people we've ever met. We're thrilled to have finally found our go to place to vacation every year. You should try this place out. You'll be glad you did.

The cottage was extremely run down and to be honest.. gross. The toilet is extremely tight to the shower wall, no one would take a shower bc it was so nasty. I paid for 3 days & we left the same day. Just know there are NO REFUNDS. The owners are nice, they are older and maybe have let the place go. Totally ruined our vacation.
My two children and my 3 month old pup stayed here and we all loved it! My son fished right off the deck multiple times a day, my daughter and pup enjoyed the beach area, and we all enjoyed our cottage, and sitting out on deck watching the swans, ducks, and some fish jumping. The owners were extremely kind and hospitable. They made us feel very welcome!
Very nice cabins and very homie
Great place to get away from the daily grind - one of the most relaxing vacations I’ve had. We will be back!!
