Grateful to have moved from an entirely different state to New York. I think for me, it is the warmth and ease with which I was welcomed by the manager and management team. To have them call you back, accommodate your travel needs and make everything electronically available with ease was impressive. Even more heartwarming was the little welcome gift basket, mug and plant 🪴 left in my apartment. Every new place has its own pros and cons, but I have peace at Woodland Apartments in Elmira. There have been a lot of improvements in the last year that make the place a lot better to look at. I'm in an older apartment, so I'm not benefiting from all the internal updates, but the exterior is a lot better. One of the things my apartment did get was new windows which have greatly improved our energy consumption and are easier to mess with. Management seems to be more proactive and responsive to residents' needs. They recently fixed up one of the laundry rooms with nicer washers and dryers which is a lot more convenien... read more
