Lets start with the first apt. The lady at the front desk was beyond rude and condescending. I almost didnt even walk in to see the Dr because of the attitude but I waited long enough to get the apt so went in. Fast forward to today, Tuesday after MLK day. They called and left me a voicemail on Friday stating that they needed an updated insurance card as my policy changed. I was never treated so rudely by the receptionist! I missed my first appt and rescheduled, my appt 10:30, I arrived 10:25. I was told they could not see me and TOLD me to leave? The parking is horrific at st.Lukes hospital... I drove around 35 minutes looking for a spot to park... The receptionist Jessica was very very very rude. I will never go there... Very friendly staff! I wish I had gone to Dr. Hanawalt for my first bunion surgery, which was botched due to it being more severe than previous doctor had realized via xrays. I still have visual bunion on one foot but my foot which was fixed by Hanawalt looks beautiful in comparison. Completely different technique was used.
Dr. Sheryl Hanawalt is an exceptional podiatrist. She is extremely knowledgable about foot care and foot issues. Her doctor- patient relationship is outstanding. She is kind, caring and has a lovely sense of humor. Her surgical skills are remarkable. Dr. Hanawalt performed two bunion surgeries on my feet in the past year.
