My partner and I lived at Woodlake for three years and just moved out due to a job change. Overall, our experience was EXCELLENT and we are sad to leave. Pros: The apartments are older styled, but well kept, clean and appliances were new. The price was significantly lower than other complexes of similar quality in the Albany area. Awful experience! Tour guide was quite disrespectful. We went there with a happy smile to look for our future home and got disappointed by the attitude of the tour guide. Also think that we got discriminated because when we said we took a cab to get there, she looked at us weird and went inside to get a map and was like : “follow this path and we will meet there” (with a very weird tone). Apartments are very nice though! But unfortunately we were not welcomed…
The apartments are not nice. They are extremely cheap and low quality. The apartments look much nicer than they really are. Very very low quality. Walls and floors are paper thin. No exaggeration. With closed doors you can hear full conversations and everything goes on throughout the whole apartment and the one above you or below you. I should not be able to hear my downstairs neighbors having a normal conversation word for word through the floor. Lived in Woodlake for two years- only left because I was relocating . Everything gets fixed ASAP , very patient staff and would recommend !
