Worst stable experience EVER! I decided to take lessons here, but that was a HUGE mistake. Everyone is very rude and immature and there is a highschool cliquish thing about everything. On top of that, the facilities and horses are very poorly taken care of. The horse I leased always seemed to be very ragged and thin. The owner doesn't care at all about these animals, and even the trainers and half hearted. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
My girl scout troop loved this place I have taken my girl scout troop out here and they had a great time. The pony handlers were sweet and showed the gilrs how to saddle and brush the horses. They were very reasonably priced and it was a great value for the money. The girls had 45 minutes of ride time and 15 minutes of brushing and saddling. Do your research before boarding here! You'll regret it! I boarded here last year and I am still upset over my experience. The owner is nuts, no other way to put it. She is out to gain a buck and could care less if its at the horse/ owners expense. To start with her horses, they go days without water and are skinny, ragged horses. Her ponies that she uses for her pony rides sit in a foot of manure, covered in flies. One even has a skin disease that goes unattended. This woman will steal your horse DO NOT BOARD HERE! If you horse doesn't suffer injury while at this horribe boarding facility the owner may decide she likes your horse more then hers and steal it. This is no joke there are currently pending theft charges against the owner. Animal control and the local authorities are very well aware who Janie Phillips is as they make frequent visits to check out abuse cases.
