I wanted to give a huge shout out to the woodhouse Hyundai service team. I brought in my 2015 hyundai sonata that had a check engine light and low power. They investigated and immediately found the rod bearings on the motor were shot. They let me know hyundai has a lifetime motor warranty and they replaced my entire engine in 2 weeks. They also provided a vehicle for me to drive while the work was being done. The staff was extremely friendly and kept me up to date on the fix. These people had me driving around on expired tags for about 1 year.
My car was in the shop for 3.5 months to replace the engine. My supervisor was no longer with the company halfway through and it was "handed off" to another supervisor, which after (and before this) I did not receive any updates on my vehicle for weeks until I made the call myself for updates. I never received calls to update me on the progress of my vehicle, I would have to call the service department and ask for updates or show up. Each time, they would tell me "by next week it will be done" or in "1-2 weeks at the latest"... read more
