The food and service were top tier. Best shrimp cocktail I have ever had this far away from the sea. The ribeye and the brussel sprouts were spectacular.
Great steakhouse at the Kansas star Casino. The steaks are always cooked to perfection this time I had the special swordfish crusted with potatoes with a cauliflower purée and fresh carrots very delightful. I even won money right after dinner so paid for my meal.
We arrived at the restaurant notice several empty tables and was told we would have to wait, 45 mins later we were seated st a table in direct line from the kitchen to the rest of dining floor, still noticing several empty tables out of the way . My drink of a double tito with diet in a tall glass was very weak and did not taste like Tito's. Use to be awesome! I've been a customer here for years they had the very best chopped salads every one loved them. I would literally crave them and would visit Wood fire specially for this sald. But is no longer an option. Their bread and butter use to come out with 3 different tasty butter options, they stopped doing that now its just plain butter with salt on the top.
