I received truly wonderful care here by a provider by the name of Emily. She was thorough, kind, and very attentive to my symptoms and needs. This medical provider is a gem and PeaceHealth is lucky to have her! Overall, the office and nursing staff is friendly and helpful. It isn’t rushed and you leave with your questions feeling answered. I felt very seen, heard, and tended to. Much thanks to the provider and the staff.
Don’t get me wrong there are some truly caring doctors here, especially those who are attentive to the needs of POC/BIPOC/DISABLED communities. However, my experience with Dr. Melissa De Freest was enough to make me terrified to come here again. She made a comment about the type of insurance I have, implying that it was probably the reason I couldn’t get in to see a "real" doctor. A bit disappointed recently walking into this clinic and having the front desk tell me it's not a walk-in clinic anymore. I really hope I misunderstood, but was completely disappointed when I had to walk out and go to the university district Peacehealth urgent care instead.
Navigating healthcare in Eugene can be challenging (to say the least) but I can’t say enough kind words regarding my experience with Emily. She’s compassionate, knowledgeable, made me feel heard and understood. Being what I imagine was her last patient of the day she never made me feel rushed. This is my second exceptional experience with Emily at this location and I just really appreciate the care I’ve received. I hope Emily and this location stay here for a long time.
