I enjoyed the staff while living on the property—they were kind. RUN. THE. OTHER. WAY. This apartment complex is an absolute scam run by dishonest, and the worst management team I’ve ever dealt with in my 7 years of renting. They're great until they are not. Avoid Windward at all costs. I don’t say this lightly—I’ve lived in several apartment complexes over the years, and Windward has been, hands down, the most dishonest and manipulative management I’ve encountered. Despite leaving my unit in excellent condition and providing clear, timestamped photo evidence at move-out, Windward charged me and my roommates nearly $900 for “carpet damage” that simply did not exist. In the process of trying to live here, just be aware that the application fee is linked to the apartment you applied for, and do not pay the deposit UNTIL you get confirmation and clarification that the unit you’re looking at is available. Have been trying to work with leasing agent and have had multiple miscommunications. I do not think they are trying to be fraudulent, but please be aware of what you’re getting into.
