We loved our stay here. Spent three nights in the Schitty Room, decorated in homage to Schitt's Creek. Sadly someone stole the ceiling drip. Some people just suck. But Pia was a gracious host. The room was tight, but it's a vintage motel. Far more character than the ones we passed on the highway that look like you could film a horror movie at. This place was in town so it was very quiet. Stopped in Clayton for 2 nights on our way to Canada, we stayed in the house. Lovely stay! The beds are very comfortable, sheets and towels are top notch. Kitchen is fully stocked, shower is hot and everything is spotless. Pia was an amazing host, easy to communicate with and very responsive. So nice to park the car after a long drive and walk everywhere. One thing I really liked, the motel is a couple of blocks from the downtown area. Pia was a great host. Clean affordable room with great location. Walking distance to downtown and river. Very cozy and comfortable. Highly recommended
Located just a block from the Antique Boat museum and Wood Boat Brewery, this motel is in a quieter part of town, so heavy traffic and the bustle of the village are not an issue. The accomodations are well-designed and clean, and there is a fire pit area with chairs and tables next to a screened-in coffee room, which also offers seating for rainy days. Pia is an excellent host! The tiny neighbors are very friendly, too
Nice convenient location. Pat (the owner/manager) was prompt and easy to work with. Rooms were very clean, albeit on the smaller side. Ok for a one night stay.
