The park behind building is nice. Longer commutes to nyc as area is getting crowded and traffic is heavier (about 1 hour) busses are busy especially around late October to Second week January very hard busy crowded bus traffic if going to Nyc for work. Nothing much around like Nyc, good for retired lifestyle. Old building, many structural issues, lately furnace and heat issues…. There is not much insulation, you can smell next door cats litter, people walking, talking, dogs barking, creaking floors etc. like they are inside ... read more
The park behind building is nice. Old building, many structural issues…. There is no sound insulation. Maintenance is rapidly going up. You can’t walk in your own home or listen to music because there is no sound insulation. There are newer and nicer buildings being built in the area. Traffic is getting very busy as area is getting congested, only real jobs in the city (New York City) and with work hours over an hour in bus and most likely can be stuck inside the Lincoln tunnel. Great place with spectacular views of Manhattan and easy commute to the city by historic James Braddock (Cinderella man park- built by same group who built NYC Central Park) across is very nice (close by restaurants healthy playabowl place). Commute to Manhattan- appx 35mins to Times Square with bus leaving infront of building every 5mins. Area is developing rapidly, early Brooklyn, Dumbo area growth feel.
