I recommend Woodchuck Tree Services without reservation. You will not find better. A week or so ago, a 100-foot cottonwood fell onto our home during a severe storm. Like many in the area, we were left scrambling for help. It took a couple of days for Woodchuck to arrive—understandable, given how widespread the damage was. Thurs 3/13th on Old Wildwood Road Mahtomedi MN Crew not aware of their surroundings on a narrow road with walking path Debris on roadway Large branches down for a dog walker to have to go around. Staff walking around unaware or caring of other vehicles (evident by seeing crew member physically jump when I tapped horn). Vehicle with trailer backing without looking in mirrors or out side window also slammed on brakes suddenly when I tapped horn. Awesome company to deal with, good price and excellent service......these folks do it right! Tyler gave me a decent estimate for 11 trees, mostly large Ash with a huge broken Elm. The crew showed up early in safety gear with several pieces of equipment and a large crane. They went to work cutting and extracting several trees to the front yard where these were cut up and branches chipped, logs stacked. After all trees were cut (with two pruned) two stumps were ground nicely, the yard was raked and our driveway and street were... read more
