They charge an extra $5 to your bill without reason/permission!! A couple months ago I picked up my medication at the pharmacy. I pre-paid over the phone and was told my prescription is $35 but they charged me $40. I let it go as it is only $5. I just got a refill of the same medication but this time, for delivery rather than pick up. When pre-paying over the phone, they told me it will be $35 + $5 for shipping. They purposely run prescription claims without a doctors prescription in order to prevent a patient from going to another pharmacy of their choice. They make them a prisoner of their store. The do not give patients the right to go anywhere else. What’s worse is some of these false claims are for controlled substances which go on the state monitoring programs. I have been using woodbury family Pharmacy for almost 5 years now - was actually disappointed when my insurance wanted me to use somewhere else. That was until today-for the last couple months they have been messing up between mine and my daughter medications as well as closing earlier than their stated hours - I just let it slide. This am I called requesting my refill and was told it’ll be ready soon. 4 hours later I go there and they tell me 5 more minutes.
