My brother went for chemo on a Monday. His BP was 78/43. He was dehydrated. He had thrown up black lumpy looking stuff. The nurse called the Dr and said to give him a unit of fluid and when he comes back on Wednesday they would give him some more. The on call Dr never came in to look at him. He died that night.
