My husband and I rented the manor for the weekend to host our intimate wedding ceremony with our immediate family. It was absolutely beautiful, and our family loved each of their rooms! Brenda and Al were incredible coordinating with us for anything that we might need and allowing us to arrive early to decorate on top of everything else. Everything was perfect. We cannot recommend enough!
My only regret is that we could only stay one night! I took a chance on something different than a hotel and I’m so glad that I did. Beautiful room with so much space for the 4 of us. Lovely little light breakfast spread in the kitchen.
I was looking for a great place to stay that was local and not a boring hotel. This house had so much charm and was in a great location not far from UA campus. The hosts were amazing and so friendly. We had snacks and water provided and a light breakfast of yogurt, coffee, and fruit. Luxury towels and bedding. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We had a wonderful stay at Wood Manor Guest House last week. Having lived in Tuscaloosa for much of our lives, we are very familiar with Wood Manor and the home that is now called Wood Manor Guest House. The restoration and renovation to make this house into a warm and inviting place to stay is a tribute to the detail and love that Al and Brenda have put into transforming this house. Excellent location to the University. Friendly and helpful host. Quiet, clean, internet has excellent connection, and close to restaurants. Highly recommend. We will definitely stay here again.
