My wife brought me here for my birthday. I want to start this by saying our server was truly exceptional. First, the host staff are very rude. We had a 730 res, showed up 10 mins early because parking was easy and told to wait eventhough we saw 6 open tables. Once seated they had a large very drunk unruly group of guys center room screaming and carrying on. Dinner before show - not good. Biscuits were hard and old. Had to return trout as it was raw in the middle and the Chicken bbq is not BBQ - sauce over oven chicken does not make it BBQ - so tasteless. The watermelon dish was nice but 2 cubes of pork doesnt make it worth all that money. Worst $150 spent.
EVERYTHING was amazing! Since we heard they have a whole gluten free dinner menu, we’ve been wanting to go. Having celiac, I was so stoked. Everything is so nice! The atmosphere, the service and the FOOD is amazing! Ashly was our server and she is the actual best! I got the crab Mac and cheese and the Brussels sprouts and I am still thinking about it! We went for our anniversary and they have beautiful roses on our table. Seriously probably our new favorite spot.
I had reached out to Wood Ash Rye on July 27 to inquire about menu for the whiskey pairing dinner being held on August 13. I also sent IG message with no response. I spoke with 2 staff members who were unaware of event and confused who to refer me to for info. It’s unfortunate that the restaurant staff or management is ill- equipped to provide info about upcoming dining events. Will explore other local restaurants.
What can you say. absolutely the best presentation of food. every bite takes you into a variety of places from all around the world. I really enjoyed the various places used in each platter that we ordered you truly enjoyed the tempura vegetables with the sauce that just woke up the pallet after a long day.
