I love Wong Acupuncture Center. It’s a modest place, and Dr. Shu Kyi Ide is quiet and unassuming, but she is truly gifted at what she does. I had been dealing with severe pregnancy-related symptoms and had tried everything my Penn doctors, family, and friends suggested, but nothing brought real relief. I’ve been having a lot of gut imbalances ever since I was a little girl and have not been able to find a solution. Dr Wong has made it a super safe space for me to open up about my on going gut issues. She is very intuitive, genuine and knowledgeable in her medicine practice. Doctor Shu is absolutely incredible. Not only is she kind and warm, but she genuinely listened to me and my specific needs and ailments better than any doctor I’ve ever been to. She is an expert of healing and knew exactly how to treat the specifics of my injuries. I have a severe herniated disc and am uninsured, so going to a specialist would be almost financially impossible.
