Me and my partner came here and a regular 5k routine maintenance for his new car, including tire rotation lead us to wait 5+ hour for something that estimated 2-3 hours by the service specialist. As a Toyota owner myself I usually go to Longo Toyota because their service is way faster despite high traffic and at least communicative. Also seems like everyone else is having bad review as well and experience here. So I’m not that surprised. Place is overpriced. Stay away from here. They said I needed car alignment without even checking if it's needed first and quoted me for replacing damaged front sway bar on one side for $750. Went to another shop, owner said I don't need wheel alignment and replace my front sway bar for $150.
Beware of unnecessary service recommendations. My wife brought our 2021 RAV4 Hybrid to Wondries Toyota in Alhambra for its 50,000-mile service, which should have been a simple routine checkup and oil change. Instead, before any diagnostic testing was performed, the service representative recommended a fuel induction/throttle body and MAP sensor cleaning, plus a brake fluid exchange. This is a note to remind myself not to go to their service department next time. Went there for an 8am appointment and left an hour later with zero work done. This location is understaffed, disorganized, and a complete waste of time. The Chaos: Check-in took 20 minutes while we were all told to wait in the car like a drive thru lane, except there's no burger at the end of the line. I’m very disappointed with how this situation has been handled. My RAV4 was part of the known paint failure issue, and in 2022 I brought it in under Toyota’s program to have it repainted. However, the dealer /shop only repainted part of the vehicle not the entire car ( because the own paint issue wouldn’t eventually affect the whole car ?) .
