The front office was not competent, and made me wait a week for insurance preauthorization for an "urgent" MRI, which should have been taken care of the same day, in order to save my sight. After I waited the week, they called and said they did not have the preauthorization yet, and that I'd have to reschedule. I believe they just did not do the preauthorization request.
